   A "blob" is a dark, shapeless mass.

   But, you said computer, so it must be a "blog", shorthand for a, in effect, note, often in the form of a diary, or merely one's opinion, that is written to a website for others to read. Often there are special ones, political, medical, just commisserations, etc. Some are like Rush Limbaugh on the radio.

   Usually, but not always, readers can add their comments.
   Almost like Y! answers sometimes….

   Most banks and major retail stores use ChexSystems. It keeps a history of your bad checking habbits and could cause problems for you in the future if you don't pay those hot checks and related bank fees. Your bank could report you to ChexSystems as being overdrawn and having outstanding bounced checks. That information will be shared with other banks later on if you attempt to open a new checking account in the future, which could result in your being denied a checking account. Also, if you write a check at any major retail store like Walmart they run your check through ChexSystems. If you are listed at ChexSystems then Walmart can deny your check on the spot, even if you have money in your new checking account to cover the check for your current purchase. This seems unfair, especially since you could have money in your new checking account and the retail store refuses your check because you had other checking problems. One way to get around this would be to use a debit card at places like Walmart that use ChexSystems. Because debit cards immediately take the money electronically out of your bank they are never run through ChexSystems.
